Invitations to other ESL Classes at the Community Learning Center
I remember the week before the Immigrants' Day, my teacher reminded us about going to the State House. She asked the students who wanted to go on that day. A few of us choose to be there. She wanted to organize a nice group that would be interested in participating. For that reason she asked four students in the class to invite other ESL classes to join us. It was a good idea and turned out to be successful. About 20 students from two other classes agreed to come. My teacher seemed very happy.

We'd been planning to visit the State House for weeks, but one week before, I was strongly encouraged by my teacher to visit Karen's (another teacher's) classroom and invite other students. I felt too shy to go, but at the end, I did. They were happy to join us. Even though I was unable to join the class because of my health, I also feel happy for the return answer from our representative Alice Wolf.
